| This was my first cartographic drawing. At first I found the task difficult to grasp, it was hard to picture the sounds visually, but after I put my pen to the paper the answers flowed freely. I achieved this piece by working with graphite, pen and Indian ink. I was happy with this initial outcome. |

| This was the negative print of my first map. Just by inverting the colours I have managed to create an interesting outlook and offer a different tone entirely. |
